Chiropractors. Some love them, some hate them, some are hustled by them, and then there are some who have never heard of them. For a number of years, I have always had a bit of a love/hate relationship with chiropractors. Little did I realize that my perception of chiropractors would soon change after my appointment with Dr. Kuang.
Dr. Kuang embodies the qualities of a medical professional and truly cares about his patients. He will listen to your problems (injuries), fix them, and then provide you with instructions on how to prevent further injury. In fact, he gave me exercises that I could do at home, which would lessen the number of visits to his office! Say what?!?! The man is trying to save me $$$?!? Talk about a breath of fresh air! As some of you know, it's not uncommon to have a chiropractor schedule you in twice a week for 6 months without really knowing what your condition/progress will be in a few weeks!
After three visits to Dr. Kuang, I have since fully recovered from my kiteboarding accident that injured my wrist, neck, and back. Took some work on my part at home, but there's no way I could have figured out some of these strengthening/preventative exercises on my own. Dr. Kuang, thank you!
And, oh yeah, take advantage of his free phone consultation!

I was definitely impressed with the service and experience that I received at Dr. Kuang's Office. As soon as I found out that Dr. Kuang was a top level athlete and a USAW coach, I knew he was going to have a better understanding of my complaints/injuries.
His flexible availability makes it very convenient. The wait time to see the doctor was minimal. As I described my symptoms, the doctors feed back and explanation was thorough and detailed, easy to understand my condition and solution to a speedy recovery.
The cost is very competitive to the surrounding practices within the area. I would recommend Dr. Kuang for his chiropractic services.

I have always suffered from lower back tightness and pain for a long time that seems to come on after bouts of leg exercise, mainly with the running associated with ultimate frisbee and soccer as well as with skateboarding. I have had my low back adjusted hundreds of times with varying results and began to assume that it would be my life long crux. During a flare up of low back tightness, I decided to see what Dr. Kuang might be able to do for me to provide some relief.
First off, if you're looking for a boring chiropractic visit with a monotone doctor and no humor whatsoever, I suggest you go elsewhere. Dr. Kuang was very passionate and energetic with a myriad of tools at his disposal. His treatment was effective and comprehensive, pairing his education of ART and chiropractic adjustments to provide me relief in my low back like it hasn't felt in years!
Thanks Dr. Kuang, you're a life saver!

I consider myself an athletic person. I've been dancing since I was two years old, received my Bachelors in Dance, and have been training in Olympic Weightlifting for the last two years. My performance and my body are very important to me and I've found chiropractic to be the best method of taking care of myself.
The fact that Dr. Kuang is an athlete appealed to me when choosing to see him for chiropractic treatment. He is an athlete and understands how important performance and everyday training is. Not only is Dr. Kuang knowledgable, but he is gracious, kind, and thoughtful. He is a doctor I trust and he maintains his professionalism while still showing me he cares about me getting better. His prices are competitive without being too high for a student in grad school (me) and his office is clean and peaceful. Dr. Kuang's office is an environment that promotes healing and peace of mind.
From my many experiences with medical doctors and chiropractors, I can honestly say that Dr. Kuang is the best out there. He promotes health and improvement and really cares about all of his patients. I would recommend any of my family and friends to see him.
Thanks, Dr. Kuang!!!

I was in a car accident a couple years ago and ever since then I've always been having neck problems (I don't exactly always have the best posture either - especially when sitting down in front of the desk at work) I recently went down to Southern California to visit some friends and maybe it was sitting in the car for too long but my neck was bothering me a lot. My friend recommended me to set some time aside to make a visit to Dr. Kuang.
Dr. Kuang was super nice and very professional. He helped me with adjustment and with loosening the tight muscles around my neck and shoulder area. He also gave me many tips on posture, both when sitting and standing, to prevent neck pains from coming back. He also showed me some general easy exercises that I can do in the office since sometimes I get lower back and wrist pains (I'm broken everywhere)
Even though it was only a one time visit, I could tell Dr. Kuang is very passionate about his work. I don't live close enough to his office to make him my permanent go-to chiropractor but I would definitely recommend him to anyone that wants a great chiropractor!

I would recommend anyone to Doctor Kuang, including my close friend whom which I already did. I was a massage therapist for 7 years and through that experience I have learned a little bit about corrective and preventative care. What I appreciate more about Doctor Kuang is #1 his abundance of passion for helping people and #2 the importance he takes on education in the realm on posture. I love what he explained about what he called "Human Performance Optimization" which is all about improving ourselves before we allow our body to decline to a weaker more susceptible state. He explained that when we use pain as a chief diagnostic system we crate a problem. It's not about fixing pain (which one should still see him if you are in pain), but it's more about fixing the problems before there is pain, because there can be problems with our structure and performance with a lack of pain indicators. If you are thinking about seeing him or on the fence GO!!!
