What To Expect

Our doctors at Ideal Body Chiropractic are dedicated to making your first visit to his office in Fullerton as comfortable as possible.  Here is what you can expect when you visit our office for the first time.

 

When you first walk into our office, you will be greeted with nothing but smiles from our friendly office staff.  When all your clinic paperwork information is taken care of, one of our doctors will bring you into the office where the initial examination will take place.  During this examination, our doctors will ask you a series of questions, and perform specific clinical tests to figure out exactly what your condition is.  These tests include range of motion measurements, orthopedic tests, neurological evaluations, and movement screenings.  If indicated, our doctors will refer you to an imaging lab where X-rays can be taken to accurately diagnose your condition.  These tests provide a complete portrait of not only your chief complaint, but of your overall state of health.

 

Based on the results of all of the tests and your specific diagnosis, our doctors will create a customized treatment plan for you.  This may include a chiropractic adjustment to relieve pain and increase joint range of motion and Active Release Technique soft tissue massage to relax sore muscles.  Our doctors also believe in empowering you with the information and knowledge on how to take care of yourself.  That is why after the treatment, our doctors will then educate you on what you can do on your own time to aid in your recovery.  This includes education on how to do specific stretches, exercises and simple mobilizations to help you not only stay out of pain, but to perform optimally so that you can take full advantage of everything your life has to offer.
